fancy a bit of culture?

We're perfectly positioned on the north Cornish coast for a short trip to St Ives (visit Tate St Ives - www.tate.org.uk) or just meander through the pretty cobbled streets and narrow alleys visiting small galleries and artists workshops, Newlyn & Penzance (visit Newlyn Art Gallery www.newlynartgallery.co.uk or Penlee House www.penleehouse.org.uk), Truro, our Cathedral City (visit the Cathedral or Royal Cornwall Museums), famous Falmouth (visit National Maritime Museum, Falmouth Art Gallery) and of course the Eden Project www.edenproject.com (but don't go on a rainy day  it'll be packed!)


take some time out and visit one of the beautiful gardens or estates

Enjoy a quiet drive through country lanes to the south coast and discover the Roseland Peninsula and find . Take afternoon tea (Cornish cream tea of course!) at Olga Polizzis Hotel Tresanton in St Mawes, and take the King Harry Ferry across the Fal estuary. Visit Lost Gardens of Heligan (established by Tim Smit before he started Eden Project
